Faith, Hope, and Enterprise housing assistance in Nottingham

Faith, Hope, and Enterprise provides accommodations across Nottinghamshire. The charity also offers other schemes to those that are considered to be housing vulnerable. All of the services provided are aimed at helping families live independently. There is linkage to rent help for arrears, food, hostels in the area and other aid.

Many of the clients will need to apply to the support scheme that is provided. This will offer assistance based on an assessment that is done, and it addresses a variety of needs and contexts. The services is run in partnership with other agencies in the city of Nottingham. All issues are addressed, whether it is for addiction or there are also programmes that will improve health.

The process will involve a worker from Faith, Hope, and Enterprise to have a risk assessment done on the applicant. This will be used to help determine what type of support they need. If Faith and Hope can provide the assistance that is needed, then that will be done. Otherwise they will signpost the client to one of the other agencies they work with. Goals will be set and also measured against as part of this plan.

Much of the Faith, Hope, and Enterprise support is for housing matters. So it can be used to help the homeless find a new property to live in, or help a family maintain their existing tenancy agreement in Nottinghamshire. To assist with rent payments, having a job and education are important. So the charity will also assist with numeracy, reading and writing skills, and even training on information technology. All of this can help the client maximise their income.

Faith, Hope, and Enterprise accommodations

The moving on scheme uses multiple steps to help a client locate a new property and move into it. There are both private and social housing units provided in Nottingham to clients. If found to be eligible, the person may even be able to move into one of the homes run by the charity.

Many people that use the Faith and Hope schemes lack the money to pay the rent or bills. Moving On will try to resolve that challenge. The charity partners with councils, not-for profits and even credit unions. All of this allows them to offer support, including information on places for rent deposit help. This can cover payments for housing.

Move on will set up multiple goals and plans as well. If the person meets the goals set by Faith, Hope, then they will go from Tier 1 emergency accommodations to Tier 2 properties. Throughout this process there will be less support given to the client from Faith, Hope, and Enterprise.

If the family meets all criteria in place, then they may eventually be able to move into the accommodations that Faith, Hope, and Enterprise offers. These properties are aimed at the single and homeless people in the area. There are homes and individuals flats across the county, including in Belper, Ashbourne the city of Nottingham and Derby.

Those that are able to move into one of those accommodations will need to agree to enter into a Personal Development Plan. This will tell them exactly what is expected while they live in the accommodation. So examples of what people may need to do is to agree to save a portion of their income for future rent or deposit costs, budget, and open an account at a credit union. The development plan will be different for each person that moves into the accommodations.

Any type of accommodation from the charity is subject to availability. If they do not have space, then referrals may be given to other housing agencies in Nottinghamshire.
