The Salvation Army and partners (including adult education Centres, local authorities, in-house training and housing trusts) help clients in the Cambria House. As they want the client to live independently within the 12 months; however even independent living can include occasional follow up support.
The Cambria House is a shared living facility with bedrooms, kitchen, and shared living spaces. Clients need to cook, clean, and learn to live independently. Cambria House and the Camden Salvation Army also give case workers to address and improve basic life skills. The Support Worker addresses many issues as needed with the client, including debt or money management, employment, permanent housing, and more. This is a holistic approach, as it tackles all the needs of the client.
